The Prairie Jewish Youth offers a Jewish leadership position called Junior Staff.
Junior Staff members assist the senior staff at Prairie Jewish Youth programs. Responsibilities may include, leading ice breakers, making announcements, distributing flyers, posting social media and being a role model.
Who Is Eligible?
Jewish Juniors and Seniors in High School who have attended at least three Prairie Jewish Youth programs and completed one Leadership Training Institute offered by PJY.
What are the Benefits?
The Junior Staff position can be used on college and job applications. It helps students refine their leadership skills and solidify their Jewish identities where they can then apply these skills and experiences in their future endeavors.
